Summary:

Thoughts:
I remain such a fan of this book. The sports scenes are written in the same way music or art are described in other fiction; the descriptions are like magic. In that vein: the way the book utilizes focus also continues to fascinate me. Torture, Exy, and Andrew are explored in intimate and at times excruciating detail; nearly everything else is glazed over. The way this reflect's Neil's priorities is so cool. I hope to read TSC sometime soon to see if the same property is true for Jean's focus; I am very curious about how it might differ.
