Summary: 

    Neil has made a deal: he will keep Kevin occupied, and Andrew will watch his back in return. Neil may be terrified, but this means he can play Exy for another few months. And with Seth out of the picture, for the first time the Foxes have a real chance at cohesion--and maybe even winning. But the Foxes are Foxes for a reason, and their pasts are quickly catching up to them. 

Thoughts:

    Re-reading this book was an excellent reminder of why this series has such an impact on so many people. The brilliance of the writing is subtle. It's not flowery or complex, but the scenes--especially the last few ones--were so strong. With just a few words, Nora has such an intense impact, and it's so impressive. I think the fandom tends to trivialize or misrepresent the characters. Out of love for them, of course, but the books have so much more power than the online representations tend to create. I cannot wait to get my copy of the third book over the break, so I can finish my re-read.
