Summary:
Molly has had her eye on the same girl since Freshman year, and she knows they'd be a perfect match--if only Molly could get up the courage to ask her out. Alex, on the other hand, has no problem getting people to go on dates with her--it's keeping them, especially in the case of her girlfriend, who asks for a break until Alex can figure out how to stop flirting with everyone she meets.
So they make a deal. Alex will help Molly get the girl, thus proving to her girlfriend that she can have a productive friendship, no flirting involved. Only, the more time Alex and Molly work together, the more they realize what a good pair they make.

Thoughts:
This was such a cute book. It was fast-paced and fun to read, with a really heartwarming and sweet romance. The characters were genuinely interesting; Alex especially was quite complex and fun to read, far more than some recent YA books have to offer. The awkwardness was minimal, and the sweetness of the romance well done. Sure, it was a bit predictable, but I've read a lot of YA.
I really liked the way the book approached addiction. It was a simultaneously realistic yet compassionate depiction, and dealing with her mother added a lot of depth to Alex's character. Though the book didn't answer the question of what happens after rehab, YA is defined by the way it stops at a happy point technically in the middle of a story, so I think that's okay. I loved this book and definitely would definitely recommend it.
