Summary:
A retelling of Leigh Bardugo's short story by the same name, Demon in the Wood tells the story of a young Darkling and his mother as they try to winter with a small band of hidden Grisha in Fjerda. Though Eryk, as his mother tells him he must be called, wants to stay in the same place for a little while and to maybe make friends, he also knows that if anyone finds out that he's a human amplifier, his life--and his mothers--will be in grave danger.

Thoughts:
This was a super cute graphic novel. It mostly stuck to the original story, with a few pages of extra story added. Not that I'm complaining--the original story was great, and since nothing was changed, there was nothing for me to be mad at. It was interesting that the gestures shown in the book matched the show, rather than what I imagined. Regardless,  I'd definitely recommend reading it to anyone who loves the Grishaverse.
