Summary:
Ten years ago, Greer Galloway kissed Maxen Ash, war hero. Five years later, she slept with his best friend. Now he's the president of the United States, and he wants her back. But not only is there a war brewing, an election upcoming, and mysterious forces determined to keep Greer away, but isn't just in love with Ash. She's also still in love with his friend.

Thoughts:
The world-building of this book was very wishy-washy, but everything else was quite good. As always with Sierra Simone, the romance was impeccable. I have so much trust in the relationships she writes. I don't understand what in the hell the world-building is doing, with the whole basically ignored Arthurian structure situation, but the characters--and honestly the political action in the plot--is interesting enough that I'm more than willing to read the sequel, especially since the book ended on a cliffhanger.
