Summary:
Gretchen life isn't going well. Her parents are divorcing, she isn't doing well at her magnet art high school, and the boy she likes has never even talked to her. Then, one morning, she wakes up as a literal fly in the boys locker room at her school. While her experience is weird to say the least, she learns a lot about the people around her, and about herself.

Thoughts:
This book was weird as hell. I like E. Lockhart's style of indentations and lowercases, and her witty thoughts on the world that end up being pretty deep despite their odd context. The mc was biracial, and there were several queer characters, which isn't half bad for a book published in 2006. But this book was very, very odd. The number of times "gherkin" was used instead of "penis" was quite concerning. And a lot of other things were also handled in an odd, immature, and mildly unethical way. It was a little alarming. I like Lockhart's characters, stories, and writing enough to keep reading her books, but hopefully they don't get any weirder because this one was a lot.
