Summary:
Twins Noah and Jude used to be NoahandJude, inseparable: two halves of a tree with it's leaves on fire. Noah narrates their lives at 14, as their family begins to change. Jude tells the story two years later, after their life has been fractured by the tragic death of their mother. In this electric story about life and art, the twins must find their way back to each other: "Quick, make a wish. Take a (second or third or fourth) chance. Remake the world."

Thoughts:
This read, I annotated my entire hard-cover copy and taped tiny images of the art referenced into the margins. It looks amazing. I have a few questions that I couldn't find answers to in the back — race of characters, why swahili, and why G was mourning Dianna the week before she died but not on the actual anniversary of her death— and I also figured some really good things out: Noah was watching Jude and G from the fire escape for days, and that's how Jude and NoahandJude were in the mural, and Benjamin Sweetwine must have known that Diana was cheating.
My read was amazing as always, bc IGYTS is it.
