Summary: 

    The Heron Brotherband is still on the hunt to capture the pirate Zavac, reclaim the Skandian treasure the Andomal, and regain their pride. Between the ship's community and teamwork and his own clever ideas, Hal is confident that their Brotherband can beat the pirate and his crew, but they have to catch up to him first. 

Thoughts: 

    This book is imperfect. It is sexist, not diverse in the slightest, and kind of a mess in the writing. So why does it make me so happy? I feel so much constant glee at their dynamics and Hal's brilliance and Thorn's protectiveness. Like. It is so good. It is so freaking good. I love it.
