Summary:
As Sophie becomes accustomed to her new life — school, friends, training one of the last alicorn alive — she begins to realise that there are memories locked in her head that she didn't put there. Slowly, as the mysterious Black Swan group continues to communicate with her, she works to uncover the hidden memories with the hopes of fixing some horrible wrongs.

Thoughts:
The plot felt less clear, but I was more invested because I was further into the series. Again, this book is solid. Not life-altering or earth-shaking, but genuinely enjoyable in a way fiction sometimes isn't: the plot feels inevitable rather than surprising, but reading it doesn't evoke dread or second-hand embarrassment. All of the characters are likable, and it's easy to get drawn in to the plot. I am excited to get the rest of the books from my cousins at the end of the summer so that I can finish the series.
